I have just set up a new design for this blog, including colour orientations! I have also changed the commenting, so now you can only comment on a post if you are a member of the blog (click the "Join this site" button to become a member). That's all for the redesigning.

Pi Day
As many of you know, today is Pi Day. It is a holiday commemorating the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is celebrated on March 14 (or 3/14 in month/day date format) since 3, 1, and 4 are the three most significant digits of π in the decimal form. Speaking of the decimal form (3.14159265...), the next three digits are 159. Look down to see when this post was posted...1:59!
There are many ways of celebrating Pi Day, one of which you witnessed above, with the post time of this post matching the first six digits (3.14159) of pi. Other ways of celebrating include eating pie and discussing the relevance of π.
I also did the Pi Day Challenge 2011 just for fun. To end off this post, let me wish you a very happy Pi Day.

Day Two
Hello again. I hope you all had a jolly day because I have numerous treats for you! This is because I won't be posting for a long time.
First things first. Have you ever wanted to remove that pesky Blogger NavBar at the top of your blog? Well, now you can. It's quite a simple process.
1) Login to Blogger.
2) Click on Design.
3) Click on Edit HTML. Under the Edit Template section you will see the blog's HTML.
4) Paste the CSS code after the Blogger Template Style.
CSS Code:
#navbar-iframe
{
display: none !important;
}
If all goes accordingly, your beautiful blog should now be even more beautiful without that preposterous NavBar. Next up, a special gift from me to you. If you're interested in blogging, particularly Blogger blogging, I have quite the book for you. My thanks goes to Google Docs for making this next part possible. The book is called Google Blogger For Dummies and can be accessed here. Enjoy!

Hello World
Yes, I know, you're probably wondering why my first post is called "Hello World". Well, when you start to learn a computing language (i.e. HTML, Java, etc.), usually the first lesson you are taught is how to make a "Hello World" program. I thought it would be interesting and amusing to name this post just that. Well, there you have it, your first piece of knowledge about me: I love programming.
I've read numerous blogs (derived from weblogs, in case you didn't know) in the past, and they've been mostly...well, to put it bluntly, bad. There were grammar mistakes, sudden idea changes, and of course, spelling mistakes. In a post, and any post for that matter, these bad habits can really mislead the reader. They could be excitedly reading about something, when suddenly, they see a grammar mistake. When that happens, you usually lose the interest of the reader as they are pulled back into reality and out of the story of your amazing post.
And of course, blogs are personal, so they should contain some sentimental value. Whether it's just a thread of personality, or the soul of the writer, it needs to be personal. And with that being said, let's end off my first post with a lovely quote from the creator of Winnie-the-Pooh, Alan Alexander Milne.
